Animal Classification Posters & Worksheets

A set of posters (text) to introduce different groups of animals - mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, insects and animals which belong to ‘other’ classification groups! - worksheets and posters to check answers.
Worksheets:
• Complete a table - match each feature with an animal group
• Complete a table – which group does each animal belong to?
• Circle around in different colours mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians and insects
• Classification keys – use a series of questions to identify each animal
• Complete a Venn Diagram – list key features to compare reptiles and fish
• Name the group to which each animal belongs to – use posters (text) as reference
