Daily routines in the present tense

The present resource contains 37 slides with various activities and their solutions, including listening tasks and a video-based task. They can take up to several lessons, depending on the level/ability of the class.

The main outcomes of these tasks are to learn verbs for daily routines and their conjugation in the present tense, focusing on the 1st and 3rd person singular; telling the time for different actions; using adverbs of time and sequence (primero, antes de, después de, finalmente…); using yo también and yo tampoco.

The tasks are visually engaging and interactive. They lend themselves well to pair or group work, both in person and online. The teacher may use the visual aids and text boxes in each slide to modify the tasks, add new instructions or include extra verbal cues, as they see fit.
