A new range of materials aimed at supporting teachers of the Edexcel GCSE (9-1) in Business. This presentation is designed to cover the topic of place and its role in the marketing mix. It considers the impact of place in terms of both the traditional methods of distribution via the retailer, and the modern more direct method of selling directly to the customer online via e-tailing and e-commerce. It concludes with a quick look at technology and how this has led to developments in distribution.
