El restaurante mini dialogue practice (present tense)

Read the short dialogues. For each dialogue, add missing words and then add two more lines of your own to continue the dialogue (exclude greetings and farewells). For the question at the end, indicate what meal of the day the people are eating (el desayuno, el almuerzo, la cena).

There are 3 dialogues total.

Example:

José: ¿Qué pides tú?

Carlos: Yo pido el pan tostado y los huevos hervidos.

José: Yo pido los huevos revueltos, el tocino, y el café.

Carlos: Para beber yo pido ___________________________________

This practice can be used for classwork, homework, entry / exit slip. Students can work in pairs and present the mini dialogues orally, as well. The practice can also be used with chapter 3A of Realidades 1.
