Google Translate is broken! TRANSLATION ACTIVITY - MFL Spanish | French | Any Other Languages

This is a translation activity to use with any two chosen languages for all year groups.
* Excellent for classroom translation, revision of key vocabulary, exam translation practice
and homework.
* Great activity for differentiation (mix-ability groups and SEND)

The translation activity included in this resource is for a Year 7 Spanish lesson (end of year exam revision). All sentences in the text are mixed, with Spanish and English combined (e.g. ‘Mi madre is very guapa and she tiene el pelo long’). Students have to accurately translate it to Spanish and to English.

This resource (PowerPoint and Pdf version) includes all templates – you can choose the ones that are more suitable for your lesson.
* Slides in this PPT resource are pre-made for:
1. Spanish/English – English/Spanish (Includes mixed text and full translation activity!)
2. French/English – English/ French (Just the templates, no translation included)
3. Language of your choice/English – English/ Language of your choice {You can adapt the slides to your needs by adding a ‘Text Box’ on top of the Google Translate languages bar and fill in (or cover) as required} (Just the templates, no translation included).

• You can create new texts to translate adapted to different curriculum topics and Key Stages all year long.
• You can use this as a longer or shorter activity, depending of your needs.
