I-Y preterit worksheet

Verbs included: leer, creer, caer, oir / -UIR: construir, destruir (6 total)

For each verb, follow these guidelines:

1. Write the correct conjugation in the preterit.

2. For the 3rd person singular (él, ella, Ud) and 3rd person plural (ellos, ellas, Uds), write the preterit conjugation with the i-y spelling change. Then, in the second blank add 3-4 words to complete the sentence.

3. Avoid repetition in your sentences (using the same words over and over)
