The Bronze Package
Designed for Year 4 students, these no-prep activities explore the origins of a familiar everyday beverage—tea—and trace its journey from India to cups around the world. Through an engaging text, students will discover how tea is grown, harvested, traded, and enjoyed, gaining both cultural insight and key reading comprehension skills.

What’s Inside the Bronze Pack?
A Carefully Curated Text (“Where Does My Tea Come From?”): An informative passage explaining how tea is cultivated in India, the steps it goes through before being shipped, and how it reaches people globally.
Comprehension Activity (2-Page): Thoughtfully structured questions encourage close reading, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the global connections that bring tea from Indian plantations to kitchen tables everywhere.
Extension Activity: For fast finishers, an additional challenge invites students to think more broadly—perhaps researching different types of tea grown in various regions of India or comparing the journey of tea to other goods we use daily.
Answer Sheet: Ideal for self-assessment, peer marking, or quick teacher feedback.
