Inflation and the Beyonce Bounce

A case study for Business Studies students.

It takes as the focus Beyonce’s concert in Sweden and the resulting mini-inflation spike caused by the influx of high spending fans to the country. It was enough to tip Sweden over its inflation target.

The lesson looks at details of her trip, the supply and demand shortages it caused and then has several slides on the theory of inflation and what causes it.

It ends with a case study style question to answer.
