Key Stage three history assessment: Why did castles change?

For teachers delivering Key Stage three history. This is an assessment for the question 'Why did castles change?' It uses a question stem from the new Edexcel GCSE 9-1 course to help prepare students. It also includes a help sheet for the students including structure and key words as well as a mark sheet for the teacher. This is in line with the old National Curriculum levels, but it is easily adaptable for individual needs for life after levels!
