This is one lesson covering all mini topics in the Conventions of Pop Area of Study. I have created it as a final lesson after going through all genres, but it could also be used as a revision lesson nearer the exam period.
Starter activity - i printed off the headings onto A3 paper and the features onto coloured card. I had 2 teams, however you can have as many as your class size can cater for. In teams they race to see who can put the correct features under the correct headings. Answers are including on the PP.
PowerPoint contains the listening questions and answers and you tube links for each track. However i have cut down the tracks into the actual excerpts so will add as mp3s.
