Practice: Regular preterit sentences (-ar, -er, -ir verbs)

For each section, choose the correct verb and conjugate it in the preterit in the first blank. Then, add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence. Be sure your sentence makes sense.

Students will complete a total of 18 sentences (6 per verb type)

Only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are included.

AR: comprar / hablar / escuchar / mirar / ayudar / viajar

ER: entender / vender / comer / aprender / beber / comer

IR: vivir / compartir / recibir / escribir / subir / abrir
