Practice: Regular verbs present tense conjugation with short sentences

Write the correct conjugation for each infinitive. Then, write 3 sentences using the guidelines.

For each infinitive type (-ar, -er, -ir), students will conjugate 10 infinitives (5 singular and 5 plural) and write 6 short sentences (3 with singular subjects and 3 with plural subjects).

Page 1: -AR infinitives / Page 2: -ER infinitives / Page 3: -IR infinitives

Sample:

  1. Hablar (to speak): Yo ______________________

  2. Comprar (to buy): Tú ______________________

  3. Bailar (to dance): Él ______________________

  4. Caminar (to walk): Ella ______________________

  5. Mirar (to watch): Ud. ______________________

Choose any 3 subjects (persons) from #1-5 and write 3 original sentences. Add 3 words after the verb conjugation to create a 5-word sentence. No collaboration or translators.

This practice can be used for classwork, homework, quiz, review, entry / exit slip, or sub plans.
