Predicting / Pre-reading - The Boy at the Back of the Class

This lesson was created for a class of students with MLD/GLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties/ Generalised Learning Difficulties) but could also be suitable for LKS2 students.

It is designed as a lesson that would be delivered before/at the start of a block of lessons on The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q.Raúf.

The lesson includes:

• Attractive, short, easy-to read PowerPoint.
• Two starter activities that encourage communication with peers (Within .ppt)
• Worksheet for students who struggle to read. (Will also require support in reading blurb)
• Worksheet for more able readers.
• Pictures of the front cover and blurb
