I currently have the privilege of working as a teacher within a special needs secondary school in the North East of England. Prior to this, I completed a degree in French, then travelled and volunteered in schools in Australia and France before coming home to complete a Primary PGCE. Before securing my current role, I worked in a mainstream primary school where I helped to develop the curriculum, including MFL as a key part of the school day. The experience gained in mainstream, SEN and abroad, taught me the value of a collaborative approach to resourcing meaningful lessons.
