Activities to practice the preterite:

• Odd-one-out.
• Tacos. In pairs/groups students have the verbs in the middle and the teacher says a verb in English, they have to highlighted. Use different colours to count the points at the end.
• Listening and speaking activity. The student with the word START says the first verb in Spanish (example ´comí), the partner needs to find the translation and next to it there is a different verb in Spanish, they read it out and the partner finds the translation.
• Puntos game. Divide the class in two to play click on the square to reveal the points.
