The reading lessons are all based around language analysis. The lessons make use of reading strategies as suggested in Doug Lemov's 'Reading Reconsidered' to develop competence in reading - in particular, the use of TDQS. These text dependent questions encourage deeper engagement with the text.
The writing lesson is a guided learning lesson on upgrading vocabulary choices and avoiding comma splicing.
Assessment opportunities and differentiation throughout all lessons. All ready to go. Made for KS4 Literature Paper 1 but could be used with other year groups.
