Spanish Phonics: Letters, numbers & more

Set of 5 Spanish lessons teaching Spanish phonics. Lessons teach students how to pronounce different letters and sounds in Spanish, whilst teaching them the basics in Spanish.
Lesson 1: Introducing yourself (Saying my name is and how I’m feeling)
Lesson 2: Numbers (Saying how old I am and numbers 1-15)
Lesson 3: Birthdays (Saying when my birthday is - months and numbers 16-31)
Lesson 4: Family members (saying who my family members are and describing their age/birthday and writing and listening exercises)
Lesson 5: Animals (Saying the animals in Spanish and how many there are)

All lessons are PowerPoints and come with vocabulary sheets on Microsoft Word.

Games to play when pictures of newly learned vocabulary are all on a slide:

Teacher vs Students. (Teacher points to the picture and say it in Spanish and students repeat. However, if the teacher points at a picture but says the WRONG word, students must stay silent. If students do not repeat they receive a point but if they do repeat, the teacher gets the point).

Tap the board. (Two students stand at the board with all the new vocabulary (pictures) on the slide. Another student says one of the things on the board in Spanish. First person to point to it wins and stays on, the loser switches with the person who said the Spanish word).
