Spanish Possessive Adjectives Lesson

This zip file includes everything you need to teach a lesson on possessive adjectives. It includes the verbs necesitar, tener, and querer, as well as family vocabulary and school supplies vocabulary. There is a drill, powerpoint that teaches what possessive adjectives are, where they go, what they are in Spanish, and provides practice translations, a notes page for students to fill in while viewing the powerpoint and refer to, classwork that includes many writing activities, an exit ticket, and a lesson plan guiding the teacher through everything. Answer keys are provided.

All the documents (except the powerpoint) are Word docs, so they are editable for any curriculum. The powerpoint is saved as both .ppt and .pptx.

Activities include:
-multiple choice - choose the correct possessive adjective to fill in the blank
-fill in the blank with the correct possessive adjective
-multiple choice - choose the correct Spanish translation for each English phrase
-read a sentence with incorrect possessive adjective, then identify and correct the wrong possessive adjectives
-translate the possessive adjectives in a phrase into Spanish
-translate phrases with possessive adjectives into Spanish

This lesson is ideal for a Spanish 1 class in middle or high school.
