Talk for Writing- Defeating the monster tale KS1

A four week Talk for Writing unit based on the traditional tale: Jack and the Beanstalk. Children will learn the text and work towards writing their own version of the story where their character climbs the beanstalk to defeat a monster of their choosing. Lots of short burst tasks based around adjectives.
Comes with 4 weeks of Power Points, a model text and a copy of the box up grid i have used throughout the unit- all are easily editable to suit the needs of your class.
