This resource has proven very useful in my SEN school lessons for older students (15-16 years) who are working towards their English functional skills and a place in college. Art is always a welcome addition to the timetable, in between English and Maths lessons and functional skills diagnostics.
This worksheet reinforces the need to understand the background of the topic covered and will help towards their final oral and written English assessments.
This resource can also be used to teach similar aged students in high school as an introductory worksheet to the art topic of collage, to show evidence of engagement before undertaking extensive artwork in this medium.
