The Counting Nativity Production Book

This is a musical Nativity for 3- 7 year olds which is easy to learn and produce. It also helps the youngest performers to practise their counting skills and to consolidate one to one correspondence.
In this simple and versatile play within a play, there is a bossy teacher who counts on the characters as the real story is re-told and acted out.
There are basically only 3 songs to learn. The main one is divided into verses sung throughout the performance. These then come together in the final version.
For maximum flexibility there are 2 scripts, one which is ideal for 3 – 5 year olds and one with more speaking parts which is for 4 – 7 year olds. This allows you to adjust the learning to the level of your performers.

• the two scripts, stage instructions, song words and simple actions to the songs which are not only fun but help to consolidate word learning
• the score for piano with linking music to move people around the stage and guitar chords for those who want to strum an accompaniment
