Students practice solving two step equation in this activity. 3 single chains each with 9 triangles and 1 double chain with 18 triangles included in file.
Students work individually or in pairs: Each begins with the triangle marked "start", solves the equation and looks for the answer on the top of another triangle. Triangles are glued or taped together. This continues until all triangles are attached together in one long chain. I love seeing these with different colored paper hanging in the room, makes a lovely bulletin board display.
Answer keys are included.
