Lesson and vocabulary sheet based on the new Viva GCSE AQA Spanish textbook - Module 2 Mi vida en el insti - ¡Mi nuevo insti! This unit covers negative expressions and describing your school using the present and imperfect tense.
The lesson includes exercises from the textbook alongside some activities that I have also added - starter activity recapping comparatives and superlatives from previous lesson, explanation of negatives with activity to practice, paired translation task, recap of the imperfect tense, spontaneous speech task, and a written task to consolidate the unit.
There is a PowerPoint which has descriptions and timings of each activity under each slide - it is all set up so that you can just open it and teach.
Also included is the paired translation task for students to cut up and rearrange - although some of mine preferred to write it out instead.
Our lessons are 100 minutes long so there is a lot of content in the PowerPoint - possibly enough for two hour long lessons.
