The idea behind it being everyone deserves a little recognition for all the hard work and dedication that both staff and student commit to each year. It forms part of the #12DaysofChristmas The main principle being you fill a box full of goodies (you can go to Poundland etc.), write and thankyou note a leave it in the right classroom/office etc. So then, that person will do the same for someone else… and so on… forming a chain of KINDNESS! “Add a sparkle this Christmas! Fill a box, full of Christmas items, like the one you have! Carry on the trail of Christmas joy. Place your box in the teachers or student’s classroom with their name on and add a note! Incorporates Gospel Values focuses of Service and Sacrifice and key bible teachings. From the history of the appeal to what impacts the boxes can have on children’s lives. It contains key facts and information for each case study, with a map showing the location of the case study, by different coloured dots in relation to each case study . This allows students to effectively revise all key knowledge needed for case study based questions, like extended 20 markers, where students only need to know a couple of facts to meet the criteria. It is also fully editable, so you can adapt and change for your school’s case studies. I would suggest, printing this off in colour, A4 or A5 for pocket sized revision cards. Then laminate for best use and practice. Students can also use these as a basis for revision. Create mind-maps, cue cards and topic links! This resource includes everything students need to know for this content area, fully preparing students for an essay/exam practice in this area of learning. From key what and why concepts, essential sources of wisdom and authority to help students access to the higher levels of marking. Also, included are key scholars, key terms and pros and cons. A full summary to write a solid evidence supported essay. The design includes colour and easy to understand font, with clear boxes for each content area. You could print this in A3 for good use and easy to follow text sizing. For best practice print in colour where possible.
