Not very pretty but I’ve created a vocabulary set in QUIZLET for each sub-unit of module 2. In this powerpoint you can find the vocabulary sets themselves, a link for each QUIZLET set, and even a QR code that I have generated so that you can provide your students with the means to revise the vocab at home.
I have already uploaded a similar resource for module 1, and will also be creating short vocabulary tests for each one. Check my profile if this interests you, or for any other resources.
Please leave a review if you found this useful!

The very first lesson of the year with the new year 10s.
I have labeled it as “Edexcel Spanish new spec” because there are a few slides introducing the students to the new examination and to the themes/modules that they’ll cover throughout the GCSE but you are of course free to adapt this as you wish.
The lesson begins with a simple activity of chain introductions, and setting up classroom expectations (can be altered or removed altogether as desired). Throughout the rest of the lesson the students will work on a variety of grammar activities on topics they should have covered throughout y9 as a recap of previous content (there are quite a lot - some can be set for homework).
34 slides.
The very first lesson of the year with the new year 8s.
I have labeled it as “NCELP focused” because it is the scheme of work that my school follows and as such there are a few slides throughout introducing students to the homework model followed by NCELP (flipped learning).
The lesson begins with a simple activity of chain introductions, and setting up classroom expectations (can be altered or removed altogether as desired).
Throughout the rest of the lesson the students are given a brief presentation about the importance of learning French, are introduced to classroom commands in French through a fun “Simon says” game and are tested on their knowledge of content covered in year 7 through are a variety of grammar/vocabulary activities on topics they should have covered throughout y7 - this is recap of previous content and mainly covers greetings, basic questions, and adjective-noun agreement.
Additionally, there is also fun quiz about general French cultural knowledge and MFL use in England that the students can do in pairs/groups as a competition. The lesson finishes by assigning the students vocabulary learning homework to prepare students for the first NCELP lesson (following their flipped learning approach).
I hope this is useful!

An introductory lesson to Module 2 covering the double-page spread of “Zona de Cultura - Descubre Andalucía” with an introductory translation starter, a focus on photo description, and potentially a writing plenary (or hw).
This has been planned to be a single lesson but could potentially be stretched into two if more time is spent on the photo description or the grammar point (me gusta/gustaría).

A set of 3 lessons to cover unit 4 (Dónde te quedaste?) of module 2.
They’re well developed, come with a starter and even optional homework to give to the students.
Lesson 1 - Dónde te quedaste? (Focus on the imperfect and negative formation) + also includes mini-whiteboard activity for grammar and a fun game I created that is led by the students to reinforce the grammar.
Lesson 2 - Lo bueno era que… (Focus on the imperfect + irregulars, spanish cultural reading and writing)
Lesson 3 - Cuando estaba en un hotel… (Focus on imperfect consolidation, giving/spotting negative/positive opinions and practicing the roleplay + an additional roleplay for practice).
I decided to really focus on the imperfect throughout these lessons due to it widespread use and versatility, but the last lesson specially presents the opportunity to mix in the other tenses with the roleplay.

Speaking booklet to be used alongside the teaching of Módulo 2 - Viajes, or in its own dedicated lesson.
This is covering three tasks - reading aloud - role play and picture+conversation.
It follows the thematic context of ‘Travel and Tourism’ and is partly based on the questions available in p.48 (Prueba Oral) alongside my own questions for the conversation (17 total and covering the different tenses).
