A short reading activity for use on an interactive board. Using eight words from a pre-primer Dolch Word list: blue, red, yellow, small, run, play, jump and see.
Could be used as a starter activity within a reading lesson.
The slides have a photo, an incomplete sentence and a small selection of words. Students press the correct word from the choice of eight to watch it move into the correct place in the sentence.
For students learning about prepositions, this presentation uses the words describing the position of something.
This powerpoint is for use with an interactive board or class computer.
Students locate the correct word (from a choice of six) to describe whether the cat is in, on, under, behind, beside or in front of the objects.
Select the wrong word and it fades to grey, select the correct word and it moves into the correct space in the sentence.
This powerpoint also includes printable flash cards where students can match the pictures of the cat with the correct corresponding preposition - in, on, under, behind, beside or in front.
