Songkran Number Cards - Odd and Even I created these Songkran number cards to go with our 2 week Songkran Theme in the hope of making the concept of odd and even more visual for my students. I stuck them on the back of a piece of furniture that divided the classroom and used it as a satation. I used velcro so the children could repeatedly stick and unstick the words to the pictures. This resource was made to help a group of children, most of whom were EAL (English as an Additional Language) students. The goal was for them to learn both the vocabulary and the initial sounds. This collection includes the following resources: Sorting flashcards with the letters “t” and "p" The flashcards should be printed, laminated, and cut out. These can then be used to group words based on their initial sound. Memory game with “t” and "p" Print, laminate, and cut the cards. Place the card image down. Children take turns selecting two cards and attempting to match the pictures. When they find a matching pair, they keep them. The child with the most cards wins. I Spy “t” and “p” word games Print, then laminate. Place the cards face down in a pile. The children take turns picking a card without showing their friends the picture. They say, “I spy with my little eye something beginning with…” and they say “t” or “p” depending on the picture card they picked. The children take turns spotting a “t” or “p”; i.e., “I spy with my little eye something beginning with “t,” and the other children ask, “Is it a tiger?” " Is it a tomato?” and so on until they get the word that was on the picture card the previous child picked. 6 “t” and “p” Bingo Boards Each child is given a bingo board. The flashcards are placed down, and the children take turns picking a card. If it matches a picture on their board, they place a counter on the picture on their board. The first person to cover all the pictures on their board shouts out “BINGO” and is the winner. 10 png files with pictures and words for each initial sound These could be used electronically to create your own “t” and “p” Seesaw or Easel activity.

Lots of fun Maths, rhyming and fine motor (scissor skills) Valentine’s Day themed activities to keep the little ones busy. Includes: Mismatch Hearts - cut out the half hearts and make them whole again by sticking them back with their other half - fine motor/scissors skills. Number bonds to 10 - count the coloured hearts and then the white ones, write the sums in the boxes. Making 10 - fill the blank heart to make 10. Counting hearts - count the hearts and write the number on the hearts above each box. Colourful Hearts - colour in the correct number of hearts. Ordering numbers to 10 - cut out the numbers and put them in order - fine motor/scissor skills. Ordering numbers from smallest to largest - cut out the numbers and order them from smallest to largest - fine motor/scissor skills. Cut out the hearts and fill the empty hearts with their matching pattern. Symmetry - draw the other half of the heart. Rhyming hearts - colour all the hearts that rhyme with RING in red. Write down/cut out 6 words that rhyme with heart and stick them on the heart. “Cat” rhyming words - colour in blue the words rhyming with cat and help baby fish swim back to his friends.
