Fractions of Quantity/Amount - Garden Design
A fun activity where students get to design a garden based on a set of instructions where they are given fraction amounts for each item. They then answer questions based on the garden they have drawn. This resource is a word document with an example solution ( though not the only solution) designed for year 4 children just discovering fractions of quantities for the first time. however, it could be used as a refresh resource for year 5 and 6 pupils.
Primes, Squares, Factors and Multiples Language Word Problems
A Word Document containing 8 different questions based around the mathematical language of prime numbers, square numbers, factors and multiples. Suitable for yr 5 and 6 pupils or as a review for yr 7. Also contains a PowerPoint showing one work through solution to each question on individual slides.

Harry Potter KS2/KS3 Maths Bundle
A bundle containing two separate Harry Potter maths resources.
A set of cartesian coordinates drawing activity where sets of instructions are given to use coordiante grids to draw 53 characters, items and objects from the Harry Potter series.
A series of escape room puzzles using different maths skills ( arithmetic, geometry, shape/space and measure) based around the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Puzzles are graded at different difficulty levels and contain a backstory and interactive powerpoint showing how to solve each puzzle as well as a short clip showing the escape from each room.

Multiplication and division by multiples of 10 word problems
Three differentiated Word worksheets containing 6 mixed multiplication and division by multiples of 10 word problems. Aimed at year 4 with LA, MA and HA sheets available. The questions on all three sheets are similar but with more challenging numbers as you move through LA to MA to HA.
Initially created for a knowledge assessment before moving on to more complex multiplication and division.

Equivalent Fractions
A word document and answer sheet created to help children identify equivalent fractions. Children just starting out with fractions may need to use a fractions wall to begin with to help them identify equivalencies before they move on to be able to see for themselves the pattern.
Created for children in Year 4 but could be used as a quick recap for children in year 5/6.
Properties of Number
A Worksheet, word document aimed at year 5 and 6 children that looks at different properties of number and the maths language we use to describe them. Children sort the numbers according to their properties then answer questions based on how they’ve sorted them. Also includes a Powerpoint showing the solution, one property at a time which can be talked through as a class.
Prime Factorisation
A word document containing a range of questions about integers and their prime factors. Intended for children in year 6 but could be used as a revision lesson in year 7.
