This presentation gives a thorough explanation of how to form the present participle in French in a way to convey that two actions are happening at the same time. This would be ideal for students who are studying IGCSE French, A-Level French and adults who are simply studying french for the first time or revision.
This resource exclusively is the first installment of direct object pronouns in the present tense. Direct object pronouns are widely covered in the IGCSE syllabus.
There are plenty of examples in the target language in a cartoon format with follow-up checkpoint questions in English. There are many differentiated activities for consolidation.
I have also attached displays for the classroom featuring direct object pronouns in the present tense.

I have devised a powerpoint about the functions of direct object pronouns in the present tense which greatly facilitates teaching and learning as they can be complex at times. It contains several examples of practising direct object pronouns and there is an exercise at then end of the powerpoint which follows.
This powerpoint is geared towards students of IGCSE level as it is themed as one's hometown.

I have designed this puzzle where students will have the opportunity to exercise the use of 'venir de' followed by an infinitive by spotting the 10 differences in picture 2. This would be ideal as a starter after having taught its concept in the previous lesson and this is geared towards students who are studying IGCSE French, A-Level French and adults who are studying French as a foreign language. There is a list of vocabulary available at the bottom of the puzzle to assist unfamiliar vocabulary.
For the stronger students / gifted and talented: Try to encourage them to point out the differences using a reflexive verb as the infinitive.
Students are more than welcome to come up with alternative answers to the answers I have displayed on the subsequent slide.
This resource looks at general expressions that use the verb ‘faire’. It is particular useful at Key Stage 3, when students are becoming more acquainted with the verb ‘faire’ anf have already mastered the conjugation of the verb in the present tense.
There is a vocabulary sheet, followed by differentiated activities.

This lesson is designed to give a fundamental idea of how the conditional tense is formed and its use. This lesson is specifically geared towards students studying the IGCSE French programme, but it can also be used for the standard GCSE programme and good revision for AS/A2 French.
I tend to use the IGCSE French grammar workbook which is what I am referring to on slide 7, but feel free to make up your own exercises or get them from a different grammar workbook.

Here is a presentation of demonstrative adjectives in French and it is very useful to teach them in the context of clothes shopping. The presentation consists of consolidated activities followed by a quiz and various written activities. This activity is targeted at Key Stage 3 French and GCSE/IGCSE French. It is also useful to introduce this concept to adults who are learning French for the first time or A-level revision.

This resource explicitly looks at how to form questions using ‘est-ce que’ and how to incorporate question words into a question in the context of ‘manger’ (to eat).
Firstly, do a re-cap of the use of ‘tu’ or ‘vous’ by playing a quiz with the students as forming questions follows on from this.
After the quiz, get students to read the each question (you can get them to repeat after you if they have difficulty in pronouncing the words). Ask the class then to raise their hand if they think the correct answer is either ‘A’ or ‘B’. Ask them why they think or what tells them that that is the correct answer.
Play the dice game after the presentation and then get the students to then copy down the vocabulary on slide 51 if you wish or you can hand out the poster on the use of ‘est-ce que’ and question words’. They then can complete the follow-up activities tailored to their level. I would recommend the gifted and talented students to complete activity 4 and the much less able students to complete activity 1.

Worksheet based on forming etre verbs as the auxiliary verb. Students look at the pronouns and the verbs and then write sentences in the perfect tense. They may require assistance in forming past participles before attempting this exercise. This worksheet contains support in the first few sentences and then they attempt to complete the rest of the sentences independently.
It can be overwhelmingly difficult, especially for young students, to distinguish the difference between 'savoir' and 'connaitre'. This pack will greatly facilitate students' learning and comprehension of the different terminology, whether it is for Key Stage 3 French, revision during GCSE, IGCSE or A-Level French or teaching adults its concept for the very first time.
