I made these guided reading record sheets each time I listen to a group read. Each group and session had a new sheet. I highlight off the target the session has focused on which makes updating target tracker much easier! There is space for a reading focus and 2 questions along with the pupils names and book read during that session.

This is planning for 5 sessions of art that linked with our Year 4 topic ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It includes a lesson on -magnifying images of mammals skin using soft pastels a feather collage leading to a wings sculpture fimo mini beast sculptures clay dragon eyes finally creating a page to add to the book including sketches and a written description. I have also included the SmartBoard slides I made to go with each lesson.

This is 13 days worth of planning (we had a SPAG test and inset day) based on Tony Ross' Little Princess - I want stories. It includes reference to the new National Curriculum and has grammar starters, differentiated success criteria and Big Write opportunities. It was planned for Year 2 focusing mainly on the Band 2 Learning objectives. Have also included some of the resources that I have made for these lessons.

This is 28 weeks of planning and spelling homework based on the Year 3 spellings from the NC. I have also included my differentiated sheets for my LLAP and NTE pupils which have images to go with them. These words are mainly taken from the Year 2 spellings from the NC. (Please note the planning documents say Year 4 planning as I am currently teaching in Year 4 but have the LAP and LLAP group!)

This is 2 weeks worth of planning based on Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It includes reference to the new National Curriculum and has grammar starters, differentiated success criteria and Big Write opportunities. It was planned for Year 2 focusing mainly on the Band 2 Learning objectives. I have also included some of the resources that I made to support this unit including WAGOLL, templates, WALTS and word banks for my EAL learners.

I am learning to identify the key events in a story - Simple story board with boxes and lines for children to sequence the events in the story. Second page has time connectives already added for the LAPs.

This is an example of who I will read with and what the other groups of children will be doing - It ensures all children are heard each week and provides a focus/ questions to achieve the AF focuses for reading.

2 weeks worth of planning with big write included, learning objectives, success criteria and differentiation. Have now included some of the resources which have been adapted from the Hamilton Trust and some I have made myself.

Just a simple display resource to be laminated and then children add their ideas using whiteboard pen. Have edited it match the highlighters we mark the children's work with and changed the yellow so its easier to read :)

First two weeks of the planning for Katie Morag unit. Includes learning objectives and success criteria.

3 weeks of planning based on Mrs Armitage on Wheels and the Twits. Differentiated LAP, MAP and HAP with Success Criteria and links to New National Curriculum.

2 weeks worth of planning for instructions - end piece is instructions on how to make a pizza for a class recipe book. Links with healthy eating. Differentiated, with success criteria and Big Writes planned for. Have uploaded some of the resources that I have used/made to go with this unit. Hope someone will find it useful!

A set of templates for Top Trumps - have included blank set, an extra large display set and my masters for our nocturnal animal top trumps game for revision prior to Y2 SATS. My class loved them and have requested extra blank ones during Golden Time! Could be use for any topic and have been useful for independent tasks during guided reading. Hope they are helpful.
