This is an adaptation from the classic game “I have…who has…”. This game is a tried and tested game in helping students to both learn and practice counting and adding with Australian money. Two variations of the games have been included for differentiated learning. One with the same images of the corresponding currency on the cards and the other with different images of the same amount for a harder game. The Australian Money Loop game includes images of Australian currency for students to learn to sight the notes and coins quickly and easily. Simply print, laminate, cut and reuse.

Area, Perimeter, Surface Area and Volume Jeopardy - With Scoreboard

(0)
Area, Perimeter, Surface Area and Volume Jeopardy is a great way for your class to review your concepts and ideas about these topics. The categories covered in this game are Area, Perimeter, Surface area and Volume (just like the title suggests). I have included two versions, one for customary measurements the other for metric. I typically put the class into small groups or individuals and ask a member of the group to choose a color and dollar amount. That is the question that they have to answer. When I get the class to do it individually I get them to put the answers down on a piece of paper and mark them at the end of the game. NEW! I have now introduced a visual point scoring system to keep track of how much money the teams have earned. Simply click on the allocated game board and with each click the amount increases by $100 I run it on an interactive whiteboard but would be equally successful on a projector, computer or TV screen. Alternatively it could be run for an individual student on their own device.

Calendar Worksheet (Fill in Missing Numbers) Booklet 2018 and 2019

A booklet for 2018 and 2019 where students can answer questions about the current month. In this version the students are required to add in the missing numbers for 10 days of each month. This booklet is ideal for students that are still learning or struggling to learn their days of the week. Personally I print it all off and staple it together to make an individual attractive booklet for them to learn from. I made this resource in March and got my student to fill in the previous months as practice. Now my intention is to bring it out once a month for reinforcement. This booklet can be used for small groups, homework, seatwork, or at a math center where it could be laminated. I have also included a certificate of achievement for the students to join the Calendar Club. Thank you and please remember to follow me

This resource contains 2 multiplication mosaics, “The Power of Yet” and “Growth Mindset”.I find they compliment each other extremely well and provide a fun, engaging and creative way for your students to learn their timetables. I have included 2 versions of each, one with a title on it and one without. Just choose which version is best for your class and print them off. They are all ready to go. The student just needs pencils, felts, etc to color it in. If I have a struggling student that does not know their timetables yet, I hand out a timetable chart to them so that they can complete it, or make sure they can see a copy of it on the wall.
