KS3 French - Dynamo 2 (vert) - Module 1 - Lesson for unit 4 (Tu es allé où)

(0)
This is a lesson I have created for the textbook Dynamo 2 (vert), Module 1, Unit 4 (Tu es allé où?). In this lesson students learn about: Talking about a special holiday in detail Using the perfect tense of the verb aller (to go) The lesson includes a starter task and a variety of activities (listening, genuine reading, translation, etc). There is some grammar work but since this is a lesson for a mixed-low ability class I have not included a lot of information to keep things easy. We are only using the I form of the verbs in the perfect tense. ***Please note that I am not a French native speaker and my knowledge of French is intermediate. If you spot any mistakes you can let me know and I am always happy to amend and re-upload the resource. The resource is also editable so that you can make any changes you want. ***

Spanish Yr 8 and 9- Spare time activities - Facebook worksheet (French and Spanish)

Here is a worksheet of the 21st Century! I was trying somehow to make worksheets more fun and enjoyable and thought that if there is something our students love is social networks, so I decided to create this based on what a facebook timeline and profile looks like. This resource has two pages. The first page has two exercises (you can more or less see them in the picture). There are two different profiles, a boy and a girl, as I though it would be nice for students to choose which one they would like to complete. The second page is based on sending private messages. Ángela texts Tomás asking him for help to complete a quiz. Later on, Tomás asks Ángela for help completing a wordsearch. Any questions or requests you can follow me or contact me on @mflresources on Instagram! :)

The other side has 20 irregular verbs, those that I consider the most common, also conjugated in just the first person. It also contains a table with some frequency expressions and time expressions. The tenses that I have included are: Present Preterite Imperfect Near future Future Conditional I hope it helps!

I used this resource in an observation with a year 9 top set and it went really well. This resource include a presentation with at least three interactive games to do with students (all they need is miniwhiteboards) and it also includes a worksheet with three different sheets. With them students will practice the perfect tense step by step: the first worksheet covers the verb avoir, the second explains the past participle and how to use them and the third one combines both things in order to use the perfect tense. Hope it helps!

KS3 French - Dynamo 1 - Module 1 (La rentrée) - Lesson for point de départ

(1)
This is a lesson for Dynamo 1 - Module 1 (La rentrée), Point de départ. However, I have tried to include more information, as it is an introduction to French to my Y7 group. Some of them come from primary school having done a bit of French, but others have never done it before. Therefore, this lesson covers: What’s your name? How are you? Greetings Alphabet There are lots of videos with activities to support learning. The video icon has a hyperlink to the videos (when slide is on full screen). Also, the video links can be found on the notes of the Power Point. Lessons are completely editable and all answers are provided. No homework included as there is a homework booklet to go with this module. https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-13112894 I am aware that “Point de départ” also covers numbers 1 to 20, but I am including this in the next lesson when we talk about age, as I think it fits better in that context. *Please note that I am not a French native speaker and my knowledge of French is intermediate. If you spot any mistakes, you can let me know and I am always happy to amend and re-upload the resource. Remember that this resource is also editable, so that you can make any changes you want.
