This lesson focuses on the purpose and application of hyperbole and understatement, through a series of structured exercises, and is suitable for teenagers and adults alike. This specific resource has proven to be an invaluable tool in the formation and strategy of future lessons. This dynamically illustrated PowerPoint quiz contains a total of 28 slides. This is a complete resource with no additional work required from the teacher. Enjoy! All the answers are supplied too.

I have created an ever-growing set of materials to compensate for this skill’s gap and students have found these materials incredibly helpful. All have worked well for the students. This power point lesson focuses on the skills required to write a basic ‘A’ level essay. Through a series of structured exercises: the students learn how to create structured paragraphs, seek simple ways to write an introduction, and think carefully on how dynamic their conclusions should read.
