Calculation revision cards with 10 progressive questions for each operation - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Questions are aimed at Year 3/4 and can be used as an end of topic/ end of term / end of year check on key skills in calculation strategies.
Open ended maths investigation, exploring multiplication of numbers and the size of their products. Children are encouraged to work systematically, initially multiplying 1 digit x 1 digit, 1 digit x 2 digit and 2 digit x 2 digit numbers. Numbers are linked to letters of the alphabet and children encouraged to find word products to give structure to the investigation whilst also making links to spelling.
Children can move onto more complex multiplications as required since the investigation can be opened up to find longer words & explore further patterns.

Pack includes times tables assessment, mark scheme and analysis spreadsheet.
110 questions cover progression in 11 areas - 2/5/10 x tables, 3/4 x tables, 6/8 x tables, 7/9 x tables, all times tables x multiples of 10, 11/12 x tables, both numbers multiples of 10, beyond 12x for all x tables, 25 x table, all times tables x multiples of 100, decimal (1d.p) x whole number.
Assessment can be used as a whole or in parts during the year as different skills are taught. A useful assessment to monitor progress of children's times tables skills and target focus areas to work on.
Can be used across KS2 and may be particularly useful in preparations for the forthcoming Year 4 times tables assessments.
Calculation activity that allows children to practice all 4 operations (+ - x /) on a regular basis. This pack contains 20 differentiated sheets each containing 4 questions covering all four operations. The questions get progressively more challenging from sheet to sheet and so they can be used as a diagnostic check up for teachers throughout the year as children progress. Each sheet has space for working out, traffic lights for self assessment and a space for children to identify a target to work on for next time.
These sheets are linked to progression in calculation through the year 3 and 4 curriculum.
Also includes a blank template (Publisher format) if you want to make extra sheets.
