GREEK GODS WORDSEARCH
This file contains one wordsearch based on Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece. The student will be asked to find in the grid all the names listed. There is a printable sheet for the student and a solution sheet for the teacher. I have included two versions, one in PDF and the second an Excel file, whichever is your preference.
GREEK GODS PUZZLE
This file contains one criss-cross puzzle based on Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece. The student will be asked to name the God or Goddess from the clues provided, and then enter these into the matching squares in the numbered grid. There is a printable sheet for the student and a solution sheet for the teacher. I have included two versions, one in PDF and the second an Excel file, whichever is your preference.
USA PRESIDENTS PUZZLES
Each file contains three puzzles all related to American Presidents. In the Criss-Cross Puzzles the pupil will be asked to name the Presidents for the dates listed, and then enter these into the matching squares in the numbered grid. In the word-search puzzle the pupil has to find in the grid all the Presidents listed. For both puzzles, there is a printable sheet for the pupil and a solution sheet for the teacher. As usual, to make the answers easier to locate in the word-search solution, I have highlighted the first letter of each name in yellow, or orange when the letter begins two names running in different directions. I have included two versions, one in PDF and the second an Excel file, whichever is your preference.
HISTORY WORD-SEARCH
This file contains three word-searches, and have been created using words which students would have become familiar with during their lessons about the changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. There is a printable sheet for the pupils and a solution sheet highlighting the sixteen words in each puzzle for the teacher. To make the words easier to locate on the solution sheet I have highlighted the first letter of each word in yellow, or orange when the letter begins two words running in different directions.
