I am a KS3-4 Physics teacher currently teaching in the North West of England. In addition to physics, I am also pursuing an Astronomy GCSE for my school.
I will only upload items that I am proud of and as such I hope you will agree are of a good quality.

This is a summary sheet designed for use with the Activate Science books for KS3. I have put the numbers where relevant to help the searching of the necessary content. I have also included an extension task sheet where students can create and share their own questions on the topic.
This is a revision worksheet that summarises the above topic from the Activate 2 Science books for KS3 Year 8. I have also included page numbers from those books where applicable to ease the finding of the content for the questions.
Also included is an extension task of writing new questions based on the content that the class can peer test with

This is my lesson and resources on power and using the power equations. I have included my worksheets that I have made to assess the correct use of the power equations. The answers are also included.
This resources is designed to cover the idea of bond energies in exothermic and endothermic reactions. Slide 1 is mainly content based - having the students describe and explain what an exothermic and an endothermic reaction are in terms of activation energy and energy released/absorbed. Slide 2 is four progressively harder activities concerning the bond energies of reactions. I used common bond energies in the reference table in the middle.
Most certainly a difficult topic suited for GCSE Chemistry, but I made this with my mid-set Year 9 class in mind, which is why I made it as visually easy to read as possible.

This is a revision task intended to summarise the first part of the forces topic on the new AQA Physics specification. I have used the specification itself to ensure I covered as much as possible, and I have also included on this the physics only content that is required if you are teaching trilogy. I have made a combined science one as well if that is more suited.
Print this back to back to reduce paper wastage.
The last slide is an extension task - students can cut out these question cards and write their own questions using the revision sheet to help them. These can then be passed to other members of the group.
This is intended as a revision worksheet summary of the particle model topic in AQA Physics 2016. This only includes the content relevant to the Trilogy and as such contains sections that combined science do not need (I have highlighted these. The combined science can be found elsewhere.)
Print it out back to back to save on paper.
I have used the AQA specification to create all of these questions and as such should not be missing anything major from the topic.
The last slide are question cards you can hand out as an extension for students who finish to make their own questions for their peers.
This is my worksheet that is based on both of the required equations for power in the new AQA specification. Answers are also provided on printable A5 sheets for peer assessment.
This is intended as a revision worksheet summary of the magnets and electromagnets topic in AQA Physics 2016. This includes the content relevant to the Combined course and also omits all Higher Tier content as well. (These can be found on a different sheet)

This is a revision task intended to summarise the whole of the atomic structure topic on the new AQA Physics specification. I have used the specification itself to ensure I covered as much as possible, and I have also included on this the physics only content that is required if you are teaching trilogy. I have made a combined science one as well if that is more suited. The physics only are highlighted in orange.

This is a revision task intended to summarise the whole of the atomic structure topic on the new AQA Physics specification. I have used the specification itself to ensure I covered as much as possible, and I have also ensured that I have only covered the content needed for combined award, not full Trilogy Physics. If you require that, I have made a separate sheet.

This is intended as a revision worksheet summary of the Forces and motion topic in AQA Physics 2016. This includes the content relevant to the Combined Higher Tier and as such does not contain sections that Physics only classes will need (The Trilogy science can be found elsewhere.)
Print it out back to back to save on paper. This is a three sheet activity unfortunately as there is so much content.
I have used the AQA specification to create all of these questions and as such should not be missing anything major from the topic.
This is a revision task intended to summarise the first half of the forces topic on the new AQA Physics specification. I have used the specification itself to ensure I covered as much as possible, and I have also tailored this worksheet to the combined science specification. Physics trilogy students will need to use a different worksheet (which I have made).
The forces topic is very large so I am splitting the revision of it into two as it does split quite nicely.

This is a numeracy/skills based lesson designed to train students into the proper ways of creating and labelling a good scientific table.
The main activity involves having the class create an extensive table for an experiment (you may choose to complete the experiment if you wish!) and they can PASA their progress on these skills at the end.
This is an experiment brought down from GCSE to KS3 so that the students can have an early taste of a required practical. The class will have the majority of the lesson to complete the lengthy experiment after you have shown the modelling slides and demonstrated the experiment yourself.
This lesson is followed up with a large mid-topic assessment piece.
The lesson can be done in 50 mins, but could over run. Included are the ppt and learning mat.
I have two free resources from the SoW if you would like to see how I structure these lessons. Please visit my shop to find them.
This is the PowerPoint I use to teach and demonstrate how to complete the second required practical of the topic. The class will need to do at least two components so there is a good chance this will turn into a double lesson. I chose a lamp and a normal resistor. Download the accompanying worksheets from AQA for methods or handouts.
This is a worksheet created specifically to help embed mathematical principles in a science context. The worksheet is tasking the students to make various things the subject and will help develop equation transformation skills.
This is bundled with an adjoining powerpoint if required.
This is intended as a revision worksheet summary of the magnets and electromagnets topic in AQA Physics 2016. This includes the content relevant to the Physics Trilogy course and also includes all Higher Tier content as well. There is a lot on here that is not relevant to the combined science course. (These can be found on a different sheet)
