I am a primary school teacher and after spending hours searching for high quality resources, I decided to make my own to help make teachers' lives easier. The lesson plans and resources are designed to teach children whilst engaging and inspiring them! Maths and English resources are differentiated to allow various levels of challenge to be presented to the class. There are also entire units of work covering each term for PE, to help teachers with a subject many of us struggle with!

A Christmas quiz is a fun way to test your children’s understanding of key aspects of the curriculum. This resource contains three Christmas quizzes for you to share with your class (primarily aimed at KS2 year groups) in the busy run up to the Christmas holiday. This collection contains a fun general knowledge quiz, with various rounds for children to enjoy and complete individually or in groups; a maths quiz to test their understanding of everything covered in the Autumn term (place value, number and the four operations) and a SPaG quiz to test their understanding of various grammar points, all with a Christmas theme. Christmas poetry and letter writing - a fun way to continue to teach high quality English lessons during the busy Christmas period. Two individual KS2 English lessons (which could be stretched to more lessons if needed) around the theme of Christmas. One lesson focuses on the art of writing a persuasive letter, with the hook of writing to Santa to persuade him to bring their desired presents. It looks at the features of a letter, as well as exploring what different persuasive techniques could be used. The another lesson focuses on poetry, specifically haikus. This lesson teaches the format of a haiku and discusses the importance of syllables. The children can then write their own Christmas Haiku Poem. Each lesson comes complete with PowerPoint slides, worksheets (where applicable), a WAGOLL and lesson plan - all of which are fully editable. Enjoy English with your class in the run up to Christmas with these lessons!
