Designed to recap the whole attachment topic for new spec AQA Psychology. Includes shorten notes for interactions, role of father, animal studies, strange situation, explanations, maternal deprivation, institutionalisation and influence of childhood attachment.
I give the students a copy of the student version (usually 2 slides to page) to complete and annotate while I go through the teacher version as a class.

This includes a powerpoint of notes and activities. I get them to complete the note sheet while going through the ppt to save taking too many notes. There are then activities to complete once the definitions have been covered including a card sort, applied case study and an essay plan. There are sometimes answers or instructions on the notes part of the powerpoint. There are also video links on the powerpoint.
This takes me two lessons (1 hr and 30 mins each) to complete the full set of activities.
Full Lessons (2x 90 mins) for Classical and Operant Conditioning in the Behaviourist approach. It includes work sheets and powerpoints (with lots of video links). Designed for AQA Psychology.
It covers all key information needed for AQA spec including behaviourist assumptions and evaluation of the two conditioning theories.
Classical conditioning activities include:

-Worksheet examples of classical conditioning (including simpler answer sheet for differentiation)
-Notes sheet for students to take notes into for classical conditioning (matches ppt)

This is a set of 60 revision cards for the ISSUES & DEBATES Topic. They were designed for AQA new spec (2015). They use examples from year 1 and 2 (topics including forensic, schizophrenia & gender). Some have evaluation points on using P.E.E structure (Point, Example, Explain, However)
They have questions on one side and answers on the back - so perfect for independent revision or testing in pairs. They need to be printed DOUBLE SIDED and cut up. Print on different colour paper for each set to help you keep each set separate.
I also have sets for both first year and second year topics and they can bought as a bundle for a discount.

Also has an essay activity. If the students cut up the essay where there is a line break between sections then try and stick it back together as a complete essay. Answers are provided for this task on the 3rd page of the document.

This is a full lesson of resources for the Psychosexual stages of the Psychodynamic Approach.
It includes a ppt with activities and a video link in it. I teach using the ppt and the students make notes into the notes sheet to avoid writing too much. This notes sheet has activities inbedded in it for them to do as well.
For the stages, I place the cards of info around the room and they move around the room reading the cards of info and filling in their tables.

Essay Plan Activity
Try out this lesson on functional recovery and plasticity.
This includes a powerpoint detailing notes for experimental designs. I usually only get them to take notes on the description of each design and then they do the card sort to get the evaluation for each.
I use the experiment resources to demonstrate the differences in the designs and also to get them thinking about the strengths and weaknesses. Words vs Pictures for repeated measures and then the long and short words memory test for independent groups (instructions on ppt and in notes under ppt slides).
2 sets of exam questions included - one can be for the lesson and one for homework. These assume some prior lessons have been completed on variables, pilot studies and types of experiments.

A set of revision sheets which can be used as A4 for shorter summaries or blown up to A3 for adding more detail. Some exam questions included on each as well.
A set of exam questions for the schizophrenia topic - mostly old AQA ones from before the change to linear.
A schizophrenia A2 crossword and answers for revision.
A dominos card sort task for key terms - cut the cards up in rows. The students then match a key term to a description on a different card.

Full Lesson resources for Zimbardo lesson. This could cover 1.5-2 hours of time. I usually go over social roles, before getting them to watch the 30 min video and complete their notes sheet. Then I go over the study so they can add in any details they missed into their sheet. Then the students complete the evaluation tasks. Before ending the lesson with a true or false.

It outlines the endocrine system and then goes into the fight or fight response. There is a notes sheet included which the students take notes into from the powerpoint as the lesson progresses and it has imbedded activities in it for them to do too (e.g an independent task using Cat book).
