Two different comprehensive personal statements which I wrote during my recent job search.
Although they obviously needed to be adapted to suit the needs of each school that I was applying for, I found that having a series of ‘base’ letters was extremely useful. I was shortlisted for each job I sent these applications to (and gained a job)
There was nothing on line at the time that I could use to guide/scaffold me, so I hope that someone finds this useful!

A complete lesson, PowerPoint and resources for a unit on DESCRIPTIVE WRITING (winter themed) in Upper KS2 (Year 6) Although part of a scheme, it is also able to be taught as a standalone lesson.
The lesson focuses on the types of errors that we can make when writing sentences EG:

Punctuation errors
Tenses
The class explore these by looking at extracts together, before going onto proofread and edit extracts for themselves. The final task is then to repeat these activities with a piece of their own (previously done) writing.

Written for year 6 but easily adapted.
A scheme of 3 lessons, aimed at KS2.
Comprehensive planning and Power Points for each lesson are included. All that is missing is print outs of the actual paintings for the children to use. Children will create 2 pieces of work in Rousseau's style.
