Les Vêtements - LESSON
Lesson to introduce clothes originally created for KS3 class but could be adapted for KS4. Match up activity to start which could be done in groups or pairs followed by lots of repetition to consolidate. Re-caps masculine and feminine nouns and looks at describing others using il / elle porte. Round Robin activity to finish.
Qué Tipo de Comida Te Gusta? - LESSON
Lesson looking at types of food (italian / chinese etc) and how to give opinions and justify in Spanish. A variety of activities including speaking opportunities, gap fill activity and writing task.

Lesson to introduce breakfast items which includes a match up activity, present tense revision and translations. Written exercise at the end could be done for homework. Worksheets to compliment lesson also required - these have been added with the same title.

Was Gibt Es In Deiner Stadt? - LESSON IN TOWN
Follow on lesson from introduction to places in a town. Looks at sentence structure. Includes game of SPLAT, whiteboard activity to consolidate DER, DIE, DAS, activity to explain EINEN, EINE and EIN, gap fill activity and written task as plenary.
NB: As I have no German qualifications please check resource carefully as there my be the odd mistake.

Que comiste ayer? - LESSON/PRETERITE TENSE/FOOD
Lesson to revise using the preterite tense linked to food and drink. Looks at formation of the preterite tense and includes group translation activities, gap fill exercise and homework questions.
As-tu des frères ou des soeurs?
Lesson to introduce / recap talking about brothers and sisters in French. Writing opportunities provided and sentence structure re-inforced.
Qué hay en tu ciudad? - LESSON
Lesson to follow on from 'Cómo Es Tu Pueblo / Ciudad?'. Looks at places in a town. Match up exercise that can be done in groups, pairs or as an individual activity. Re-caps using 'hay' and looks at an exemplar piece of level 4 writing. Pupils finish by writing a paragraph to say what is in their town - extension: use the future tense to make it a level 5 piece of work.
Qué deportes haces?
Follow on lesson to sports which re-caps time and helps pupils to consolidate the use of JUGAR and HACER with sports. Also looks at describing what others do using the third person singular.

Worksheet to compliment lesson (Mon Petit Déjeuner). Pupils translate breakfast items then label the pictures in French. Can be done as part of the Powerpoint or as a starter / plenary.

L'argent de poche - WORKSHEET POCKET MONEY
Worksheet to compliment lesson of same title. Pupils complete the tbale with the French phrases using the first letter of each word as a clue: JFDB = je fais du babysitting etc. They then have two questions to answer - tu as combien d'argent de poche? Que fais tu pour gagner de l'argent.

Match up activity to compliment lesson - Mon Petit Déjeuner. Can be done as a group activity or individual activity. Pupils must try and translate as many of the breakfast items as possible having not seen these words before. Pictures at the bottom of the page to help pupils.

Worksheet with pictures of basic items of clothing. Pupils label each picture with a colour (re-inforcement of adjectival agreements) and then colour in the picture with the appropriate colour.
