A set of revision booklets designed for students who are sitting the AQA GCSE Science exams in the summer of 2022. There is a specific Biology, Chemistry and Physics booklet for: Triolgy Science 1F Trilogy Science 1H Triple Science 1F Triple Science 1H These booklets have been adapted specifically for the 2022 exams following the release of materials and guidance from AQA in February. Each booklet has been carefully designed to ensure that only content that AQA have identified will definitely be in their exam papers is included. If you have purchased my previous booklets, please note that some of the pages are the same, however many have been edited. I have also added lots of new model answers and addded a section on the required practicals and so there is lots of new/amended material in these booklets. The booklets has been designed to support students with the content of the curriculum and provide them with lots of short and extended response questions (along with model answers) that students can learn and practice. Within the revision booklet the is: • An overview of the exam including the topics that they will be assessed on • A selection of shorter response questions that are frequently assessed for the topics/content that we know will be in their exam. • For each topic there is also a selection of predictions for possible extended response questions that are likely to come up in the exam series of 2022. Within this section there is clear guidance on how the question should be approached, along with a model answer and further practice that students can complete. • Required practicals that we know will be in the exam. For this section there is an overview of the practical method which is then followed by some short response questions and then some extended response questions. Revision booklets for all papers are available through my Store. Other bundles of these booklets available include a paper 2 bundle and a complete bundle with all of the paper 1 and 2 booklets. Resource to support the delivery of Required Practical 3 Investigating the Resistance of a Wire. The focus of the activity includes: AT 1 – use appropriate apparatus to measure and record length accurately. AT 6 – use appropriate apparatus to measure current, potential difference and resistance. Skills developed on the specification include: WS 2.2 – plan experiments or devise procedures to make observations, produce or characterise a substance, test hypotheses, check data or explore phenomena. WS 2.3 – apply a knowledge of a range of techniques, instruments, apparatus, and materials to select those appropriate to the experiment. WS 2.4 – carry out experiments appropriately having due regard for the correct manipulation of apparatus, the accuracy of measurements and health and safety considerations. WS 2.6 – make and record observations and measurements using a range of apparatus and methods. WS 3.1 – present observations and other data using appropriate methods. WS 3.6 – present reasoned explanations including relating data to hypotheses.
