A revision sheet to recap some of the key vocabulary for the environment and protecting the planet. There are four activities: key vocabulary, translation into English, key verbs and deciding which preposition follows them and translation into French.
The key focus is on translation exam skills, both ways. The translations into French use all the vocabulary and verbs also on the sheet.
Me gusta viajar en coche. A pack of resources to incorporate into teaching the topic of transport for two or three lessons. It included:
A speaking/writing mat targeting grade8/9 phrases with some subjunctive construction with translation
An extension worksheet with comparatives, infinitive phrases, conditional sentences & translation

Two resources to introduce work experience to pupils. The first resource is vocabulary rich and is structured as a language mat to allow pupils to build up orally or in writing what they did for their work experience.
The second resources is a reading activity. There are sentences in Spanish which give opinions about work experience and pupils must decide if they are positive or negative. There is also a gap-fill which pupils can use as model for their own answers.
This is a revision worksheet to quickly and effectively revise key vocabulary on immigration. There are two practice exam tasks: translation into French and into English. There are key infinitives too and pupils must decide which preposition follows them.
The final translation into French brings all these elements together.
This is a battleships game for practising the subjunctive with an A Level group or G&T GCSE group.
Pupils play battleships by marking 5 ships of different lengths (5 squares, 4 squares, 3 squares, 2 squares, 1 square) on their own grid. They must then use the subjunctive with the set grids to guess where their partner's ships are. Pupils can either just use the subjunctive trigger and conjugate a verb or they could create sentences which uses the verb, for example creating sentences on the environment or pollution.
You can adopt this worksheet to include different infinitives and constructions, perhaps to revise key topics.
A standalone resource to boost GCSE writing skills. It is based on a longer writing question on the topic of media and technology with exercises for pupils to work through, including error collection, a ‘structures search’, verb conjugation and gap-fill. The model answer can then be used to model success in writing.
Following this, there is a retranslation activity in which pupils can retranslate the model answer from English to Spanish, before writing their own.

There are also some more interesting adjectives to use to.
A language mat to allow pupils to build answers to talk about what they like to do in their holidays.
There are two examples for pupils to translate and then they can use the language mat to construct their own sentences and to scaffold their own answers.
A fun and pupil-led activity to revise 80 items of Spanish GCSE vocabulary quickly: encuentra el intruso. This game can be played against the clock for added competition and the format can be easily adapted.
All the vocabulary is from GCSE topics.
Perfect for GCSE revision.
A stand alone lesson to introduce the topic of holidays using some key past tense verbs. The resources (a PowerPoint and Worksheet) will guide pupils to be able to talk about their holidays in the past tense by the end of the lesson.
The key verbs are introduced and pupils do activities to recognise and memorise these. These are then used in a reading so pupils can start to see how they work. Pupils are then introduced to the rules for -AR verb conjugation and have an opportunity to practise key verbs for the topic, with all subject pronouns. The plenary brings all of this together by asking pupils to write/ say a paragraph based on the visual information on a slide. They can then use this as a model for their own work.
There is also a plenary reading comprehension task with a gap-fill activity and this can then be used by pupils to model their own answer on.
Comment vivre sainement? A standalone worksheet for KS3 or GCSE on the topic of healthy living. The resource introduces and recycles key vocabulary with a focus on present tense verbs and negation.

A resource to introduce the perfect tense as extension for GCSE or to Y12. It includes all the rules for formation, irregulars, practice and lots of translation.

A standalone worksheet with practice on adjectival agreement for KS3/ GCSE revision. The work sheet introduces 20 key adjectives and then recycles them in various activities which focus on agreement too.

A support sheet for pupils who are describing a photo in French. There are lots of useful phrases to help with describing the photo itself, as well as lots of complex language and A* constructions for pupils to include. The structures and language are in groups: phrases to introduce a photo, past tense expressions, weather phrases, A* constructions to include, useful connectives, opinion phrases etc.
My own pupils have found this very useful and it provides an excellent scaffold for them producing high quality work.
Two standalone activity worksheets on the topic of holidays in the future tense, with answers and model answers.
Resource 1: recaps the pure future conjugation form, has a reading comprehension with lots of examples of the pure future, plenary translation recycling all of the structures/ vocabulary from the worksheet.
Resource 2: this introduces some more challenging vocabulary and then embeds it through a reading comprehension with gap-fill and vocabulary hunt. There is a plenary writing task with a model answers.

A comprehensive stand-alone worksheet to build into any lesson on languages, nationalities & introducing oneself. Based around the vocabulary and content of Zoom, there is an extended reading task with a narrow reading comprehension exercise and also 'vocabulary hunt' activity targeting some higher phrases.
