Teachers may wish to time the Fluency aspect of the assessment to ensure that the skill is embedded. Similarly, if schools wish to do so, each question card can be used as a distance from learning task to ensure children have retained previously acquired knowledge and skills.
The assessments can be done all year round but could be used towards the end of Spring Term and throughout the Summer Term to inform end of year attainment.
