I am fairly new to teaching as I spent 14 years as a forensic scientist. I love making resources for my department and so far I have created several GCSE biology units and I am now starting on the physics; which I'm really looking forward to. The pupils respond well to my PowerPoints and I do my best to make sure they are high quality and interesting with a wide range of engaging tasks. I always share them as a block not individually, so there will be 8+ whole lessons in each resource.

These 3 power points are specifically targeted to the updated curriculum. I have referenced 2 Pearson worksheets in the comments as I do not own the copyright I cannot include them however the Echoes practical sheet is mine so I’ve included that - the practical can be adapted for individual pairs as well as for a whole class but its fun and gets the whole class involved (I have deaf pupils in my class and I’ve made allowances for this - pupils are in pairs 1 listener and 1 recorder and if their is an odd pupil they can bang the blocks). I have referenced any additional info in the comments bit on the individual slides. Please be aware these lessons are a jumping off point designed to be adapted to your own specific needs/tastes.
