It touches on the themes of kindness, friendship and belonging.  This activity pack contains 6 different activities for children aged 5 -9. Empathy task - children can think about their lives and document how they get ready for school photos. Drawing task - children create a self or family portrait. Writing task - this task allows children to write about their perfect world. Self-efficacy task - an opportunity for children to think about ways in which they are special and unique. Reading task - comprehension questions to support children in understanding the themes in the text in greater depth(2 pages). Imaginative drawing task - like the lead character Asiyah, children can draw a picture of their ideal world as they see it.
