A maths investigation on constructing different areas and perimeters and exploring the relationship between the two. Aimed at Y5 but can be used and adapted for Y4 and Y6.
Find Equivalent Fractions of a Given Fraction
A notebook presentation allowing children to find equivalent fractions by using the dividing and multiplying strategy for the denominator and numerator. There are nine slides in total and you can tailor the presentation and subsequent work for your class.
Aimed at Y4 but ideal for LKS2 and UKS2.

To Calculate and Compare Durations of Time
A lesson presentation on how to calculate and compare durations of time. It works well after teaching the conversion between 12 and 24 hour time.
It teaches children how to calculate time durations using number lines and jumps and also how to convert hours to minutes. It is aimed at LKS2 for Y4 but can also be used easily for UKS2 and Y5 and Y6 classes.
It includes teaching slides and practice questions. There is work instructions included on the presentation but you can change the book/activity that you want the children to do.
