The year disadvantaged list can be used to track the disadvantaged/ vulnerable students within the whole year group and monitor any interventions.
Use SIMS to gather student information add in how your students are disadvantaged and add the number of groups up.
Add the barriers to learning the student may have
Add in details from any IEP and who is responsible for it
What strategies are used to overcome difficulties
Then add report data - is the student on track? how subjects are they off track in? are they making expected progress in Eng/Maths
Also included is the "disadvantaged profile" that individual teachers can use to track disadvantaged students in their own classes
