Then, they are asked to draw pictures of the definitions to help them remember them. After that, they are given a long list of words that use their new vocabulary and challenged to see how many words they can use to write a paragraph. The last mnemonic in the packet is a word search template and students are asked to create a word search for a classmate, followed by a quiz to check retention. Supports Common Core and Reading Foundational Standards. No instructional lesson plan needed. Simply print and teach!
