This is a contemporary unit made in 2020, that allows learners to understand the current standing and future projections of the UK’s energy sector. Looking at both the strengths and challenges of the UK’s current position, in terms of energy, the SoW looks to move students towards building conceptual understandings, such as “What does a carbon neutral Britain look like?” - A UK government commitment by 2050 - The first developed nation to do so.

Unit 9: Consuming Energy Resources.
This is a GCSE Edexcel B unit, created to a high standard and has been delivered to my GCSE classes over the last two academic years.
This SoW work has been differentiated, with with both support and challenge throughout. Retrieval Practice and Duel Coding Theory are incorporated and as well as regular links to other parts of the syllabus, this is in line to my recent academic readings. Knowledge Organiser - Middle East - Conflict - KS3 - Geography
A knowledge organiser is a document, usually no more than two sides of A4, that contains key facts and information that children need to have a basic knowledge and understanding of a topic. Most knowledge organisers will include: the essential facts about the topic, usually laid out in easily digestible chunks.

Thias SoW is designed in detail and is both differentiated and engaging, and allows you to a move pupils through content efficiently. As a result, lessons can take around two periods to deliver and are sequenced to flow for a more human study of Brazil, to a more physical one.
