I have created this document to help parents with the issues they face while their children go through mock/public exams. I have issued this to our parents to help them cope as a parent as I feel we often focus too much on how to get the pupils ready. Please do adapt and expand on the information provided.

This Christmas advert quiz is fun and engaging. I have put together a 25 commercial list where students have to listen to the advert and guess using the task sheet what company the advert is from. Some do mention the names but on the PowerPoint I have said when to play/stop (the PowerPoint should be viewed in full presentation view to play the clips but don't show the pupils - they should listen to it) YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO YOUTUBE

This resource took some time setting up. It allows you to store all your evidence into a database and produce reports. This can be used by an individual or adapted to suit the needs of a school. Features include: ★ Add evidence and select what standard it relates too ★ Upload files to support evidence ★ When you observe others you can relate this to standards ★ Log all your CPD/training and associate these with teaching standards ★ Produce reports on each teaching standard or all standards ★ Record lesson observations and select what standards you achieved The uploaded file is a .txt and needs to be changed/renamed to a .accdb. If you need help in changing this please contact me. Its a database to store all evidence in one place. It allows you to upload the evidence and select which sub-standard it meets. It is a bit techy and if you need any help then let me know. Saved me lots of paper.

When these booklets are printed you have 8 theory lessons primarily based on the BBC Bitesize website. Follow the bitesize online pages and activities and complete the task sheets. Homework can be completed on the homework booklet. They have been designed to be used without computers and there are enough lessons for 1 every 2 weeks. Hope they are useful
